Environmental Sustainability – doing the right thing

Set in 400 acres of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, this breathtaking location goes hand in hand with Capestone’s environmental work.

By working together the whole Capestone team is looking at ways to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. This exciting challenge involves:

  • Implementing an Environmental Management System
  • Reducing waste
  • Reducing water usage
  • Managing energy emissions through renewable energy forms
  • Increasing its biodiversity and identifying its community footprint

The Idea
Educate and inspire children on the link between food and farming.

Encourage young people to talk about their food and gain an understanding and appreciation of the differences between organic, free-range and conventional farming.

The idea
Young people are the future consumers, it is now the responsibility of the producer to educate the next generation. Working with local Secondary Schools to educate young people on the crucial link between agriculture and food. Capestone assist with Career Days, CV writing and Interview Tips.
