Inspiring pupils on the link between Food & Farming!

It was an absolute delight to invite Broad Haven Primary School to Capestone Farm recently.  Not only did we have 1 class out to visit us…but we had the whole School over a period of 2 weeks!

A fantastic time was had by all – and we achieved exactly what we wanted – to get pupils enthusiastic and asking questions about Agriculture and Food Production.

Pupils were able to visit the young day old chicks and then also help out in the factory where staff were packing and wrapping the finished product. We were even able to discuss the benefits of Organic & Free-Range Poultry farming.

We look forward to welcoming pupils in the Spring when we expect the arrival of our Spring lambs.
